Aggressive Toll Fraud Protection for Meridian 1 / SL-1 PABX's
What is it?
COPS Interrogator is an optional fraud control module available
for all Genesis Plus users with Meridian 1 / SL-1 PABX's, that works
with the existing COPS Toll Fraud module.
What does it do?
COPS Interrogator looks inside your Meridian 1 / SL-1 switchboard
for fraudulent calls, in progress, and disconnects them.
How does it work?
At user set intervals, COPS Interrogator dials into the
maintenance port of your Meridian 1 / SL-1 switchboard and
interrogates the switch to determine the characteristics of calls
currently in progress. Those calls are examined and if any match
your preset fraud parameters, COPS Interrogator disconnects them.
COPS notifies you by alarm or fax.
What do I need to use COPS Interrogator?
- Genesis Plus Telephone Management System
- COPS Interrogator module
- Unused serial port on the PC
- Maintenance port on Meridian 1 / SL-1 (preferably a spare
port)
