An Included Option with Genesis Professional Software

Our configurable user account controls allow you to setup administrator and standard user accounts, restrict users from printing reports, give them read-only access, limit access to certain individual sites, menus, entire products and much more.

The user account system, specifically designed to work with the web-based version, can allow or deny access to nearly any category of features or screens, ensuring you only give users the access that they need. For example, you can allow the administrative staff to only access reports and allow the web based user management screenTelecom department to only access configuration, perform MACs, etc.

Genesis Web-Based software supports the following configurable options:

  • Two levels of user accounts, administrators or standard users with password protection
  • An unlimited number of each type of account is supported
  • Restrict users on a product level to deny access, allow access to all sites or specify access on a site by site basis
  • Global single login provides access to all sites, products and features the user is entitled to from a common user interface
  • Audit trail of all Avaya MACs performed in Genesis GenSwitch can be tracked by username
  • Feature restrictions include read only access or standard access
  • Lock users out of specific menus (ex. allow reports menu access but disallow system settings and configuration menus)
