Operator Assisted calls can present a
special problem for all Call Accounting packages because they involve a
voice transaction between the caller and the operator to determine who
and how the charges will be applied (collect, 3rd party bill, person to
person). Normally Operator Assisted Calls billing information (time and
charges) is transmitted back to your location after the call has
completed. With the Genesis HOBIC Merge option, Operator Assisted Call
information that is sent to your hotel/motel for printing can be
re-routed into Genesis and merged with your DDD calls. This call
information can also be transmitted to your Property Management System
(PMS), like your DDD calls for consolidated billing. Additional
surcharges, markups and taxes can be added to meet you requirements.
